Why mineral patterns matter in children
Children don’t express stress or imbalance in the same way adults do.
What shows up as behaviour, sensitivity, poor sleep, emotional reactivity, or frequent illness is often a reflection of how a child’s system is responding to demand, environment, and load.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis offers a gentle, non-invasive way to look at how a child’s body has been adapting over time. But like any data, it needs context.
Looking at mineral results without understanding the child behind them can lead to unnecessary intervention or missed signals.
Working with children and families
I don’t read children’s results in isolation.
I look at mineral patterns alongside:
nervous system load and regulation
developmental stage
environmental and sensory inputs
family rhythm and daily demands
The aim is not to “fix” a child, but to understand what their system has been responding to and how to support steadier foundations.
This work is slow, respectful, and designed to fit real family life.

Booking Child Support
This session is for parents who already have their child’s HTMA results available.
If you haven’t ordered your HTMA yet, please do so before booking so results can be included in your session.
A note on pace and pressure
Children’s systems respond best when support is layered gently.
This work avoids rushing, over-supplementing, or forcing change. The focus is on helping the body feel supported enough to regulate and grow.
If you’re looking for labels or aggressive protocols, this won’t be the right fit. If you want thoughtful, restrained support that takes your child seriously, you’re in the right place.
About Emma-Louise Pauline
I work with Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis differently to most.
Rather than treating mineral patterns as problems to correct, I read them as a record of how a body has adapted to stress, environment, and demand over time. That distinction matters, because many people aren’t unwell due to a lack of effort or knowledge, but because their system has been compensating for too long.
My role isn’t to push the body into change, but to understand what it has been carrying, and support it to restore capacity at a pace that actually holds. This is why the work is steady, contextual, and often relieving in ways people don’t expect.
