Delivery & Returns Policy

Orders placed over the weekend will be despatched the following Monday (unless a Bank Holiday). If you wish to return any items, please contact us at hello@theconsciousparent.co.uk or on 0845 226 0185. You will need to provide us with your invoice/receipt/order number.

HTMA Kit Returns & Use

Physical HTMA kits may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the kit is unused and in its original condition.

HTMA kits should be used within 120 days from date of purchase. We recommend completing your test as soon as feels practical, rather than storing your kit for an extended period.

Once a kit has been used or a hair sample has been submitted for analysis, it cannot be returned or refunded.

We will refund the cost of the items returned plus the return postage costs for any incorrect or damaged items once the item has been received at our warehouse – please keep your postage receipt.

We would advise using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held liable for the loss of any parcel on its return journey to The Conscious Parent Company.

If the item is an unwanted item we will not refund any postage fees.

Alternatively, we can also arrange to collect from you. Please contact us with the following details to arrange a collection:

• Your full name and collection address including postcode
• Order number and confirmation of which item is coming back to us
• Your preferred date of collection (Monday to Friday only)
• A contact number in case the driver needs to get in touch

There is a £20 charge for this collection service that will need to be paid at the time of booking the collection. This fee will be refunded once the item has been received by us if your item is damaged or if you have received the wrong product.

What are your delivery charges?

HTMA Delivery Information

Your Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) kit is sent by APC courier using a Next Working Day delivery service to most UK addresses.

Delivery charges vary depending on your location, as APC applies additional charges to some remote areas, islands and specific UK postcodes. Your correct delivery charge will be calculated automatically at checkout using your delivery postcode.

You don’t need to work it out yourself. Simply enter your delivery address at checkout and the appropriate delivery charge will be calculated automatically from your postcode.

Please note that Next Working Day refers to the courier service once your order has been dispatched, rather than a guarantee that an order placed today will arrive tomorrow. Delivery times to remote areas and islands may be longer.

These delivery times relate to your HTMA kit being sent to you and are separate from the laboratory turnaround time once your completed hair sample has been returned for analysis.

PRODUCT DELIVERY

• £3.95 for all standard The Conscious Parent product orders to be shipped to England, Wales or Scotland (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands)
• £9.00 on certain blueair products for next day delivery (if ordered before 12.00 noon Mon-Fri)- DPD courier tracked.
• £11.90 for product orders shipped to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland.
• £16.20 for product orders shipped to the Scottish Islands, the Channel Isles, the Isle of Man or the Scilly Isles.
• £7.50 for product orders shipped to The Isle of Wight

We do not supply HTMA and Bambo Nature products outside of the United Kingdom.

Who do you use to deliver orders?

We use APC or UK Mail for our deliveries. When you place your first order with us, we will ask you to enter your email address or mobile phone number, which our courier may then use to update you regarding delivery of your order.

How soon will I get my order for nappies or training pants?

If you are based in England, Wales or Scotland (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands), so long as you order by 2pm from Monday to Friday, you should receive your order within 3-5 working days. Deliveries are Monday to Friday.

However, please be aware that our offices are closed for Christmas from 25th December until 2nd January and so delivery of orders placed after 18th December cannot be guaranteed to arrive before the New Year.

In the unlikely event that we are not able to ship your order to you, we will contact you immediately to inform you of a revised delivery date.
